A 33 kV Outdoor Potential Transformer (PT) is a specialized instrument transformer designed to step down high voltage (33 kV) signals to a lower, safer voltage level (typically 110 V or 100 V) for metering, protection, and control purposes in outdoor electrical substations or switchyards.
