11 kV SF₆ gas insulated Ring Main Unit (RMU) with Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) module, suitable for medium voltage distribution networks and compact substations. The unit is designed for reliable switching, protection, and isolation of transformer feeders and outgoing lines.

The RMU consists of a single VCB-based tee-off module with load break isolator and earthing switch, ensuring safe operation through mechanical interlocks and clear position indication. The switching elements are enclosed in a sealed SF₆ gas insulated tank, providing maintenance-free operation and long service life.

The unit is extensible type, allowing future expansion of the network without major modification. It is suitable for outdoor installation with robust enclosure and cable termination arrangement.

Protection is provided through self-powered overcurrent and earth fault relay along with protection CTs, ensuring effective fault detection and tripping.

The RMU comprises 1 No. load break switch feeder (C module) and 2 Nos. vacuum circuit breaker feeders (V modules) (i.e., 1 LBS + 2 VCB feeders), complete with disconnector and earthing switch arrangements, and capacitive voltage presence indication system (VPIS) for safe operation.

The unit is provided with a sealed stainless steel SF₆ gas tank (IP67 protection) and outdoor enclosure with IP54 degree of protection, ensuring reliable performance in outdoor conditions.

VCB feeders are equipped with numerical overcurrent and earth fault protection relays, along with protection CTs of ratio 200/1 A, Class 5P10, 2.5 VA. CT ratio can be upgraded to 400/1 A if required. Metering provision can also be offered on request.

The RMU is suitable for front cable termination with bottom cable entry, supporting cable sizes up to 3C x 300 sq.mm, and includes standard compartments such as cable compartment, LV compartment, and mechanism section.

33 kV class SF₆ gas insulated Ring Main Unit (RMU), type +V, suitable for indoor or outdoor installation, available in extensible or non-extensible configurations as per requirement. The unit is rated up to 36 kV, 630 A, and short-time withstand current up to 25 kA for 1 second, suitable for 50 Hz systems.

The RMU comprises VCB feeder module (Vacuum Circuit Breaker only), complete with disconnector and earthing switch arrangement, voltage presence indication system (VPIS), and associated current transformers for protection.
